2006 Harley-Davidson Low Rider FXDL, Ask anyone in the know to define a Harley and you ll undoubtedly hear the words long and low. The Low Rider has always pushed that envelope. This year, it gets 49mm forks, new stylized low-profile suspension and cast wheels. The low-slung custom seat is less than 26' high, so it s easy to put boots on pavement. The ride feels good thanks to pullback handlebars, mid-mount controls and highway pegs. New handlebar-mounted indicator lights, new tank graphic and tank-mounted speedo/tach. The Low Rider also gets the new 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission mated to the powerful Twin Cam 88 engine. That s plenty of go with your long and low.

Michael Jackson in Speed Demon [video]
Fri, 26 Jun 2009Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not. We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..
Mon, 21 Feb 2011The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here.
