2005 Harley-Davidson FXDL/FXDLI Dyna Low Rider, EXHAUST,STAGE 1 AC,GRIPS,VERY LOW MILES - The Low Rider model takes to the street as long, low and restless as ever. The profile is unmistakable, beginning up front with the raked-out fork, low-rise pullback handlebar and stretched tank. Downward and to the back, there are frame-mounted highway pegs, mid-mounted foot controls and a fat 150mm rear tire. Of course there’s the lowered suspension and low-slung seat. Those who like things on the low side will be riding just over 25" off the pavement and grinning ear to ear. That’s because everything about this riding position feels good. So it was only right that we give it the internal combustion to match. The Low Rider rides high on power with a wrinkle black and chrome Twin Cam 88 engine, in carb or EFI. It’s rubber-mounted, so the only thing about you that will ever be restless is your spirit.

Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit
Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500

Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
