The factory slammed front and rear suspensions lower the bike for a road-hugging look and feel. A full length Tank Console (designed by Willie G. Davidson), and the Silver-faced Speedometer, along with the Lightning Star Wheels, slash-cut Exhaust and billet-style Turn Signals add to the drama of this visually impressive motorcycle. The FXDWG3 features more than $8,000 in Genuine Harley-Davidson custom parts and accessories. It is accented with Streaming Flames of Hand Laid Silver Leafing on the Fuel Tank, Fenders and Headlight Fairing. Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership
Tue, 09 Apr 2013A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
