Sit in the low, stepped seat, feet on the forward controls, fists skyward on the factory ape hangers, and it’s not hard to notice the new performance. You feel like you’re right in the center of it. Fri, 24 Oct 2008I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).
Harley-Davidson Extends UFC Sponsorship; UFC 164 Added to 110th Anniversary Celebrations

The new agreement will see the mixed martial arts company hold its UFC 164 event Aug. 31 in Milwaukee’s Bradley Center during Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations over the Labor Day weekend.
Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
