FOR SALE 1978 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead. This is a 1 of a kind beauty!!! The bike has had a complete frame off restoration approx 5yrs ago. Every nut and bolt was replaced using the best OEM new old stock that was available at the time. The frame was powder coated gloss black. The tins are painted a 1985 Porsche 944 RED. The tank has Harley Davidson hand painted on it not decals. The bike has a new Barnett clutch just installed. The bike runs and rides good. It has current inspection and registration in Texas. 2300 mis since restoration. The engine was also rebuilt using 80 c.i. jugs,making it 1340c.c. I have the factory original 74c.i.jugs that came with the bike. That makes this a true 2A titled bike. I am asking $10,000.00 cash O.B.O. for the bike. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.
Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling
Mon, 19 Aug 2013As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.
