Harley-Davidson Other description

this is a very healthy 103" shovelhead with a LOT of money invested in performance parts to make this bike really fast!!! this bike was built and raced in the outlaw street and strip bracket in the 1990s at new England dragway.  Engine is fresh, can be driven as a regular rider and when you get on it, it heads OUT!!! has Delcron cases, Axtell jugs, custom wiseco pistons, modified stock heads, ported, oversize valves with external oil drains, Super G carb with thunder jet, Transmission is a Harley 4 speed with all close ratio Andrews gears and it works perfect, pro clutch with belt drive.  Has a 69 Harley frame with FXS tanks, fiberglass dragster rear fender with a 180 metzler on the back with plenty of tread left.  brand new Harley battery and a high torque starter.  Bike can be ridden anywhere as it sits.  It has a leineweber cam the turns on mid ti high range and it really pulls hard. it runs good with 93 pump gas but it really likes 100 octane.  this bike has well over 110 horsepower and runs absolutely flawlessly  needs NOTHING get on it, ride it everyday or take it to the track and race it.  I have never raced it or taken it to the track, had a recent engine rebuild and hasn't been raced since.  Bike runs perfect and video can be seen   I sell worldwide

Thu, 23 May 2013

Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) have teamed up to make the 90th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week even more historic through an effort to raise over $76,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire and set a new Guinness Worlds Record. Laconia Motorcycle Week attendees and New Hampshire residents will play a key role in this endeavor by purchasing tickets for a Community Appreciation Parade at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on the final Saturday of Bike Week, June 15th. Participants will have the unique opportunity to ride around the New Hampshire Motor Speedway track, continue on a police escorted, scenic 32-mile ride around the Lakes Region, set a new Guinness World Record and most importantly, raise significant funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire.

Milwaukee’s The Iron Horse Hotel

Tue, 19 May 2009

Historically speaking, the kinds of places that have openly accepted or invited motorcycle enthusiasts and their bikes were lacking in a number of areas. While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.
