Harley-Davidson FXR description

Up for auction is a 1984 excellent condition Harley Davidson FXRT. This bike is 100% bone stock and is near perfect, especially for a 29 year old bike - very few scratches, no dents, no dings, & no rust. I will be selling this bike with 2 keys, keys for all 3 bags that lock (top bag is not pictured), the original windshield, & original seat. Bike was just serviced - all fluids replaced and had a tune up. The only items that do not work on the bike are the fuel gauge and the radio. This is an unmolested bike though - all stock/ original. There is not another one in the US that is cleaner and in my opinion, it would make for a killer donor bike, too. Please email me with questions and bid in confidence - this is one of the most awesome Harley's ever made. I have not had any issues with the bike (it starts and runs perfectly) & to the best of my knowledge, there are no issues with it either. I just simply have to sell some toys due to a new home purchase. Please don't message me to end the auction with a lowball price; I am not a desperate seller.

A $1,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end via PayPal. If you fail to follow through, I will certainly leave you negative feedback. I will not accept money orders or personal checks for the remaining balance. A certified cashiers check or bank wire through Wells Fargo or Bank of America IS acceptable. And of course, cash in person at the time of pickup is acceptable.

Lastly, I will not ship the bike until all funds have cleared at my bank - no exceptions.
I will gladly help your transporter / shipper with the arrangements for same but I will not ship - this is 100% the buyer's responsibility. There are no warranties expressed or implied and I do not accept returns. Period.

Thanks for looking and please message me through eBay only with questions about the bike!

10-seater Harley. Just what you need.

Tue, 04 Aug 2009

Ever gone to take your Harley for a spin and thought "You know, I wish this thing had a couple more seats, infact no, I wish it had 10". Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.
