Harley-Davidson Dyna description

Up for sale is one of 640 Scarlet Red / Crimson Screaming Eagle Custom Vehicle Operations FXDSE/2 Dynas. This bike is immaculate. It has always been garaged and has seen rain maybe twice. Cleaned and waxed after riding and serviced regularly. All work has been done at the dealership.

DIAMOND CUT CYLINDERS, BIG CAM, VANCE AND HINES BIG RADIUS EXHAUST and a QUICK DISCONNECT WINDSHIELD top off this beautiful bike. VERY FAST and the fastest production bike Harley made in 2008. COMPLETE NEW TOP END DONE WHEN DIAMOND CUT SO ENGINE IS VIRTUALLY NEW!

I’ve just purchased a trike and have no need for this $29,000 bike and it needs a new home. It has 17xxx miles. I also have the original exhaust taken off after 23 miles! This bike would be great for a collector or just to ride and be the envy of the crowd and at this price it is a steal! Title is clear and in hand with no liens.  Please feel free to ask any questions you wish.

No warranty expressed or implied. Pick up or you arrange and pay shipping. There aren’t many of these around and it is a very desirable bike. Bidding starts at $15,000.    $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of purchase and balance paid with paypal, cash, cleared check - it just can’t leave until money is in my hands. Good luck !

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.

Arlen Ness B-Day Bash At Petersen Museum

Fri, 31 May 2013

On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
