Up for sale is the baddest bike on earth. This 1299 Panigale S is equipped with a Full Akrapovic Titanium Carbon Fiber Exhaust system. Nothing sounds meaner, Has an incredible deep, throaty sound that is unmatched. (This exhaust system sells for over $5,000)
Bike has over 30k invested into in. Comes with Solo seat rear. Has extra Carbon fiber pieces that come with the bike as well. This Ducati has a 4 year extended warranty that is transferable to the new owner. Bike has been babied and taken care of. Never wheelie, raced, abused in anyway. Rain Puts a Damper on Ducati MotoGP Test
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Wet conditions limited Ducati factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden to just 18 laps each on the second of three days of MotoGP testing in Malaysia. Though there is a lot of work to be done for Ducati to be competitive, the heavy rainfall plus Hayden’s still-recovering shoulder limited track time for both riders. They used what time they did have to work on the Ducati Desmosedici GP12‘s electronics including new traction control software.
Ducati 1199 Panigale On The Dyno
Mon, 23 Jan 2012Italian magazine Motociclismo is one of the largest and most influential motorcycle publications in all of Europe, and they’ve captured this clip of a Ducati test rider running the new 1199 Panigale on the dyno. Rider wearing full gear aside (he even flips down his faceshield!), what sticks out to me is how quickly the new Superquadro engine accelerates through its rev range. I was also impressed at the length it took before the rev limiter was reached.
