2008 1098R set up for the track. It was meticulously cared for, despite it's track use. The stock bodywork was removed and the bike was then built for track use. The engine itself was left stock for reliability, but the suspension, etc were modified. The build list is fairly extensive... NEW ATTACK BODYWORK. Audi Poised to Buy Ducati
Mon, 12 Mar 2012German automaker Audi is reportedly in exclusive discussions with Investindustrial to acquire Ducati. British automotive publication CAR Magazine cites high-level sources within Audi in reporting the car maker has won first dibs to negotiate a deal. Audi reportedly has until mid-April to decide whether to buy out Ducati.

Thu, 06 Oct 2011Ducati is introducing a new track-ready Corse Edition of the Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP for 2012. The 2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP Corse Edition comes dressed in red, white and black colors (similar to the Pikes Peak edition Multistrada). Otherwise, the Corse Edition is mechanically similar to the 2011 Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP.

Wed, 18 Jul 2012I don't smoke, so my excuses for buying this are very limited - but that doesn't stop me wanting it. It's a Ducati Zippo from 1982, not that Zippo technology has changed much in the last two decades but the price of this one has. If it was a tenth of its £170 asking price, I might have bought it.
