1985 DUCATI MIKE HAILWOOD REPLICA MILLE. VERY LOW MILEAGE (9995 KMS OR JUST UNDER 6000 ORIGINAL MILES). ORIGINALY SOLD AT GHOST MOTORCYCLES ON LONG ISLAND NY. I AM THE 3RD OWNER. ALL ORIGINAL WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE WINDSCREEN. CONTI EXHAUST ARE INSTALLED BUT THIS HAILWOOD WILL COME WITH THE ORIGINAL MUFFLERS THAT WERE TAKEN OFF IN FAVOUR OF THE CONTI'S WHEN NEW BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. K&N FILTERS ARE INSTALLED AND LEFT SIDE COVER HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO ALLOW CLEARANCE FOR THE K&N FILTER, BUT A NOS SET OF MILLE SIDE COVERS WILL BE INCLUDED WITH THE SALE OF THE BIKE. ALSO INCLUDED WITH THE SALE IS A NOS FACTORY PAINTED SEAT BASE. THE NOS SIDE COVERS AND SEAT BASE ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, VERY RARE ITEMS. BIKE IS TURN KEY AND COMES FULLY SERVICED (VALVES, FLUIDS, BRAKES, FILTERS, FORK SEALS, CARBS ETC…) NO LEAKS OF ANY KIND. BY A DUCATI EXPERT. Ducati unveiled its Desmosedici GP12 race bikes in on online presentation streamed over Facebook. With the machine officially revealed, the pressure now turns to factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden who try to rebound in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship after a difficult 2011 season. The 2012 livery adds a touch of green striping resembling the tricolore version of the Ducati 1199 Panigale S and celebrating the company’s Italian heritage.

Ducati Confirms Checa For 2013, Althea Out

As the Ducati Factory World Superbike team finalizes its plans for the introduction of the 1199 Panigale into the series, two things are certain: 2011 champion Carlos Checa will be the team’s lead rider, and Team Althea Racing, who have worked with Ducati since 2010, will not be the team’s sponsor. The first bit of news shouldn’t be a surprise, as Checa has been helping the Bologna factory develop the Panigale since mid-year. Checa won the 2011 championship with a masterful display of domination on the 1198, a model many believed to be dated and an underdog before the season began. Details of Checa’s new contract with Ducati have yet to be released other than his role in continuing to develop the 1199 and being the team’s lead rider next year.

A real Monster of a bike

The bike above was once a Ducati Monster S4. It was restyled by Italian custom builder Ferruccio Codutti who took a year crafting the look out for aluminium for one of his customers. Ignoring the grotesque nose, Codutti's work is impressive as the front end was made by the man himself.
