Only mods are safety oriented since I wanted to keep an OEM+ feel. Bike drives excellent. This is 1 out of approx. 118 Black Sport Classic Sport1000 Monoposto models ever brought to the US. Fluids changed every 1000 miles. Bike was fully inspected by Ducati dealer when purchased. Bike is extremely fun to drive and gets a ton of attention. Bike has been very reliable as well. All original parts come with the bike as well as a pit-bull front & rear stand, brand new full set of front and rear stainless steel/polished spokes, an extra OEM exhaust, and all manuals and original keys both black and red keys included. The bike is in great shape and barely ridden. This model is very difficult to find and took me over a year to find one, specially in great condition and it is very sought after as it is the only model other than Paul Smart that comes with the dry clutch setup that complements that distinctive Ducati sound and driving experience and Black is one of the most popular colors. Tue, 02 Nov 2010Just got back from Ducati's stand in hall 18 and it's swamped. People are literally scuffling to get a sit on the new Diavel. I managed to scuffle my way to the front and even though the handlebar grips were dripping with other people's excited hand secretions, it was a pleasant experience.

Tue, 22 Nov 2011Three-time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss and Ducati Superbike Project Director Ernesto Marinelli sat down together to talk about the new Ducati 1199 Panigale in a new video released by the Bologna manufacturer. The video was shot in a split screen format with the two men answering questions about Ducati‘s new superbike. Of course, the video feature the two lauding superlatives on the 1199, but it does offer some amusing moments such as Bayliss’ “Superquadro” face pictured above and the two men doing their impressions of how the Panigale sounds rocketing down the straight of the Mugello circuit.

Sun, 01 Jul 2012From Ducati: Robbie Brown tightened his grip on the Ducati 848 Challenge championship with a maximum points haul from both races at Misano World Circuit, Italy. A win in Race 1 and second behind non-points scoring rider Chris Northover, was enough to open up a 53-point lead at the top of the table. With the round taking place during the famous World Ducati Week, which this year attracted a record crowd of 65,000, and in baking-hot 40 degree temperatures, the weekend was a proper test for the riders and teams.
