Ducati Other description

2012 Ducati Panigale S With ANTILOCKING BRAKES 2012 Ducati Panigale S. The bike only has 380 mis on it. It is in 100% perfect like new condition. It looks like it has never been ridden. It has been stored in doors in my air conditioner and heated garrage under a full Ducati cover. The bike has been babied ever since I bought it. It is still being broken in. I had the oil changed at the begining of this summer. I have all of the receipts for everything that has been done on the bike. Everything that has been done on the bike has been done by Fast By Ferracci which is the dealer that I bought it from. I have put several additional Ducati carbon fiber parts on the bike. They were also purchased from and put on by Ferracci. They are all authentic Ducati parts. They include: Shock absorber carbon cover ($193 ), carbon License plate holder ($329 ), carbon heal guards ($166 ), carbon swingarm guard ($404 ), carbon rear fender mud guard ($320 ), carbon tank pad ($55 ), comfort seat ($249 ) and the Ducati waterproof bike cover ($187 ). The laybore for installing all of these parts was $585 . Since I wanted more sound and horse power, I added the Ducati Corse complete exhaust unit with ECU upgrade. The exhaust alone cost $3 ,569. The installation was $900 . The bike comes with two keys as well as all of the original parts. Everything is still in the original boxes that they were put in when they were taken off of the bike to be replaced by the carbon fiber parts. It also comes with the complete original factory exhaust. When I originally purchased the bike, with all of the parts and the labor for the installation that was all done at Ferracci, I paid around $31 ,000.00. 848 build blog : 42 days to go

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

With just 42 days until the British Superbike season starts and the 2012 848 Challenge riders head to Brands for the first of eight rounds, I thought you'd like to see the lastminute.com preparations and hard graft going into my bike to get it ready for the season ahead. Instead of ending the season in one piece, I highsided in Race 1, buggering the bike and busting my shoulder. The bike and I have been feeling very sorry for ourselves ever since.

The problem with electric bikes...

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

This weekend sees the running of the most famous car race of them all, the Le Mans 24hrs, and to be a driver of one of the front-running cars has got to be fairly high on the list of jobs that will make ladies swoon. Speed, danger, noise, fame, physical fitness and lots and lots of money, the key elements of any top-line race series, tend to ensure that its star competitors manage to appear cool. But the latest press picture from Yamaha – publicising the firm's link with (Yamaha shareholder) Toyota's Le Mans effort – manages to strip away every last shred of of swagger from the team's drivers by plonking them on Yamaha EC-03 electric scooters.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
