This bike features Ohlins front forks, Ohlins rear TTX shock, Stalane GPS laptimer, accossato throttle, Folding and lenght adjustable levers, Ducati 1040 cc kit, Ohlins stearing damper, aftermarket clipons, alluminum yoyodyne subframe, 520 DID race chain kit and modification to allow rear 200x60x17 race slick, Sharkskinz superbike race bodywork with race seat, race carrozzeria alluminium wheels with extra set of galfer full floating rotors practically new, front and rear pittbull race stands, lightweight speedcell battery, race air filter, Front fairing stay lighweight alluminium - Yoyodyne, Quick shifter and Microcell programmable ECU with program and harness connection to PC for fuel mapping, Keyless Ignition switch, Keyless lightweight fuel cap, Westhold CCS race datalogger, clutch and waterpump covers, Arrow race slipons, carbon Lorain race break pads, rear linkage (Ducshop), . Saltarelli Classic Ducati Collection Up for Auction

One of the world’s largest private collections of Ducati motorcycles is going on the auction block. Former Ducati factory test rider, racer and dealer Carlo Saltarelli is selling his collection of classic motorcycles at RM Auction‘s biennial auction in Monaco on May 11-12 during the Grand Prix of Monaco Historique. Saltarelli’s collection includes 100 motorcycles including a 1970 ex-Works Ducati 450 Desmo Corsa which was featured in the Ducati museum in Bologna, Italy.

2014 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring D|Air Revealed

Ducati officially presented the D|Air-compatible version of the Mulitstrada 1200, which claims to be the industry’s first motorcycle wirelessly connected to a wearable airbag. Available only for Europe, the Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring D|Air combines onboard sensors and Dainese‘s D|Air Street motorcycle jacket airbags into one integrated safety system. A joint project between Ducati and Dainese, the Multistrada 1200 S Touring D|Air uses two triple-axis accelerometers mounted to the fork bottoms and another two mounted under the seat with a D|Air electronic control unit.

Carlos Checa Announces Retirement

After 20 years of world-level racing and a world championship in World Superbike in 2011, Carlos Checa has officially decided to retire from the sport. Checa, who turned 41 just a few days ago, made his debut on the world scene back in 1993, when he took part in the GP 250 championship. In the twenty years that followed, he went on to compete in the 500cc, MotoGP and Superbike championships.
