I’m feeling a little uncomfortable after watching Ducati’s recently posted “Colour Therapy” video.  Are you prepared to watch a Ducati technician strip a Ducati Monster of it’s plastic to reveal it’s true nakedness?  Cover your eyes if you are under 18. Ducati posted this video on YouTube to promote their “Colour Therapy”.  “Colour Therapy” is there way of customizing the colour of your Ducati Monster motorcycle with an easily interchangeable kit that is available at Ducati dealerships.  I have personally picked out a new colour for the Ducati that I don’t own. EICMA 2012: 2013 Ducati Hypermotard Gets New 821cc Liquid-Cooled Engine

Ducati is streamlining its Hypermotard lineup for 2013, replacing its air-cooled  796 and 1100 models with a new 821cc liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Announced at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, the line now includes the Hypermotard, the Hypermotard SP and the more touring-oriented Hyperstrada which you can read about in a separate post. Bowing to ever tightening environmentally-friendly restrictions, the new generation of Hypermotards come equipped with a new 821cc version of Ducati’s Testastretta V-Twin engine.

848s head to Castle Combe

The penultimate round of the 848 Challenge is being held at Castle Combe this Saturday as part of the Fowlers Probike National event. The event is celebrating 60 years of motorcycle racing at Castle Combe with a huge variety of races including 125s, 350 and 500cc solos of the British historic Grand Prix Championship and of course the  Ducati 848 championship. In the 848 Challenge, Leon Morris leads the championship and just needs a couple of podium finishes to see off the hard-charging Mike Edwards who's currently in second place.
