2008 Ducati Multistrada 1100, 2008 DUCATI MULTISTRADA 1100S - This S model includes the fully adjustable Ohlins suspension (which makes for a very plush ride while providing superb handling characteristics) as well as carbon fiber trim pieces. As you can see in the photos this bike is in excellent condition. It is a garage kept, Ducati maintained, adult ridden one owner machine that has never been down. Additionally It has been equipped with Ducati Performance Seats for both rider and passenger, Ducati rear luggage rack, a Ducati carbon fiber rear hugger, as well as a MIVV carbon fiber slip-on exhaust which is Italian made and imported (factory exhaust included as well). It's had a recent oil change and the battery and rear tire are new. This time he will be in charge of the organization and logistics of the Italian squad in the MotoGP World Championship. The former Bimota racer had a very successful career as Ducati team manager in Superbike, collaborating with champions of the caliber of Fogarty, Bayliss, Corser, Toseland and Hodgson, and contributing to the conquest of seven rider’s titles in the production-based racing series.

Mon, 01 Jul 2013The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.
