Ducati Multistrada description

Outstanding condition, 29,067 original miles, and nicely equipped. The Multistrada 1100 S earns it's status by adding world-class suspension and componentry to an already loaded high performance motorcycle. The Ducati Multistrada 1100S is a special kind of motorcycle. It does everything very well. Even two years after its production has ceased and with the new Multistrada 1200 in dealerships, the old Multi's unique combination of simplicity and ability is still very relevant. For a motorcyclist who chooses to live car-free, a simple yet fun everyday bike like this one is perfect.Financing, credit cards, trade ins and consignments all welcome and available at GP Motorcycles - Ducati of San Diego - San Diego's ALL European Motorcycle Dealership, Ducati, Aprilia, MV Agusta, Husqvarna, Moto Guzzi, KTM, Norton, 3617 India Street Ste. Piaggio Opening New Design Center in US

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

Piaggio announced it is opening a new design center in Pasadena, Calif., to be headed by Aprilia RSV4 designer Miguel Galluzzi. Roberto Colaninno, chairman and chief executive officer of  the Piaggio Group, announced plans for the new Advanced Design Center at a dealer convention for the Piaggio Group Americas in Miami, Fla. At the moment, North American customers usually have to wait a little longer before they receive new Piaggio models, with most models arriving on these shores months after they are available in Europe.

Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.

MotoGP Approves “Factory 2″ Rules

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

We’re just days away from the start of the 2014 MotoGP season and one would think it’s a little late for series organizers to make any significant rule changes. At least, one would think that if one were unfamiliar with the political back-and-forths going on between the major manufacturers and MotoGP promoter Dorna. But with the season-opening Qatar round about to begin, the Grand Prix Commission approved new rules establishing a compromise between the new Factory and Open options.
