Ducati Hypermotard description

2008 Ducati Hypermotard 1100, I cant believe I am doing this but up for grabs is my perfectly equipped 2008 Hypermotard 1100s. 19,920 miles. In EXCELLENT shape. So many extras!!! Recent major services done. New tires. I am going to try to list it all but there is a lot so hopefully I dont miss anything! Full Termignoni Exhaust System w/ECU. Front Fender, Front Fork Guards, Rear Hugger, Timing Belt Covers, Rear set heel guards, Lower Chain Cover, Rear Chain Guard, & Upper Rear Fenders. Of course the S Model comes with the Marchesini forged wheels, Marzocchi Front forks, Ohlins Rear Shock & and some of the carbon listed above. Now for some of the Service stuff. I just put BRAND NEW Dunlop Q3 tires on! At 16,300 miles. I had a very major service done on the bike. Valves were checked and adjusted. Oil and filter changed. New Plugs. New Timing Belts. New front and rear brakes. New Brake & Clutch Fluid. New Front and Rear Sprocket. New Chain. New Light weight Shorai Battery (Battery Tender Connection installed). I checked the clutch a few months back and it is nearing the end of its life (Although no slipping or anything like that). I went ahead and bought a new one that I have, but not installed. I was going to run the old one out before I put the new one on. I can either give it to you or install it for you before you take the bike. Your choice. It is very easy to change with the dry, open clutch. Finally (If you made it this far) I have a full extended warranty for the bike, which covers all major stuff! The warranty still has 7-8 months left on it and is transferrable at no cost to the new owner. A little piece of mind on an expensive investment. This is an AWESOME bike with a lot of love put into it! It gets looks EVERY time I take it out and I really hate to let it go. Did I mention how good she sounds. Deep and loud like none I have heard. Ducati Multistrada Ready for Serious Update?

Tue, 13 Jan 2009

This fabed-up image from a French magazine of what a new Ducati Multistrada might look like is more like a fable than fact. If nothing else, the Internet is great for generating entertaining rumors, speculative talk, spewing hearsay, etc, etc. With the exception of chatter on where the next lucky third-world orphan to be assimilated by Brangelina might come from, nothing seems to spread faster than talk of a venerated bike receiving a thorough update.

848 Challenge returns to Brands

Tue, 10 Apr 2012

The Ducati 848 Challenge returns for another season of fast and furious action as the series opens this Easter weekend at Brands Hatch at the start of the British Superbike Championship.   The 848 Challenge was the talk of the BSB paddock last year due to the close and exciting racing that transfixed audiences throughout the eight rounds as every one of the sixteen races went down to the wire.   The successful format of the Ducati 848 Challenge continues with eight rounds and sixteen races, including six British Superbike rounds and two overseas rounds.
