Bobber Bobber description

  Hi there,

This bike was only driven approximatly 45 miles.  Its brand new.  There are still stubbs on the tires.  Its a wicked looking bike that runs great.  Fast as heck, loud as heck, and it turns every head on the road.  You will be the talk of any bike rally guarenteed.  It was built by TD Ward out of Missouri and shipped up to me.   He's a great bike builder that took second at the Sturgis bike build off and there are some pretty big names there.  Arlen Ness, Jessy James, etc.... and he took second!!!   And  I know for sure this build was one of his favorites!!! I'm sure it will be worth a ton in no time.  This bike will not let you down.  If I didn't need the money I wouldn't sell it.   I also have no time to ride.  Well, good luck bidding and Thank You,

Shan.

Mac Motorcycles

Thu, 28 May 2009

British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.

The Harbortown Bobber

Tue, 09 Jun 2009

The first release from One World Studio, Choppertown: The Sinners, is a documentary film about garage-built motorcycles that also follows the renowned hot rod and motorcycle club the Sinners.  The second release, Brittown: A British Motorcycle, documents legendary underground mechanic and Britbike connoisseur “Meatball” from the Hell On Wheels bike shop in Anaheim, CA. The latest release by award winning directors, Scott Di Lalla and Zack Coffman comes, The Harbortown Bobber, which was two years in the making will be released in July 2009.  For more info on how to purchase a DVD and for film updates, go to the site. The Harbortown Bobber DVD Review

Fri, 22 Jan 2010

On the surface, The Harbortown Bobber by One World Studios Ltd. is a documentary about the build/restoration of a bobber bike owned by Scott Di Lalla, co-founder of One World, and co-producer/co-director of Harbortown. However, what I took away from the 75-minute DVD was that the film is less about the skeletal remains of a ’69/’71 Triumph rising from the ashes, and more about the people (characters in a film for sure!) that help Scott along the way to realizing his dream of breathing life into a bobber of his own.
