Up for sale is my custom 2009 bobber. This is a kit bike by Southern Motorcycle Works which sells for $11k new.
It's a hardtail with a 100" ultima v twin, ultima 6 speed transmission with a BDL 3" open belt drive. Springer front end, disk brakes front and rear, no gauges. It's a true hot rod bike that gets thumbs up everywhere I ride it. The carb has just been rebuilt, as was the rear master cylinder, put a new ignition in it, and put a new battery in it. Starts right away, runs great. Headlight/high beam works as does the horn. Tires are Pirelli and almost brand new. Less than 3,000 miles on everything. I don't have time to do much riding anymore, so it's time to get the bike to someone that will. Title is free and clear. And I will help with shipping for out of state buyers. Pick up this awesome bike and stand out from the Harley Davidson, Victory, and Indian crowd. |

Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow

Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
2014 Lito Sora Electric Motorcycle Entering Production
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Canadian company Lito Green Motion announced the start of production for its SORA electric motorcycle. Described as a cafe racer with a bobber twist, the Lito SORA claims a top speed of 118 mph and a range of 124 miles in the city and more than 52 miles at highway speeds. Visually, the Lito SORA stands out from other electric motorcycles.
