Super compression strong running motor. This was the last year of the 441 Victor Special. The 2014 World BSA Rally is coming to Northern California and this is your chance to be part of this event. I’m Getting to old to keep kicking her over. Clear and current California Title.

In 1965 an off road motocross BSA B44 named the ‘’Victor’’ was launched at the Earls Court Show. Developed from scramblers used by Jeff Smith to win the 1964 and 1965 500cc world championships, the model proved so popular that Victor Grand Prix and Victor Enduro models were developed, as well as a road going version, the 1967 Victor Roadster was produced and the B44VS Victor Special was also successfully exported to the US between 1968 and 1970.

In 1968 the B44 became BSA’s top export model and sold in the USA and Canada as the Shooting Star. The good availability of spare parts and the relative simplicity of the single cylinder engine means that the surviving examples are easily restored to as new condition.
Victors had impressive power to weight ratios that made them ideal for hill climbs. The 11:1 compression ratio required a compression release lever for kick starting.

I'm happy to recommend a door-to-door shipping service to almost anywhere in the lower 48 states for $663 or less. A PayPal deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction's end. The balance to be paid via check, cash or wire transfer within seven working days of auction's end.

The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!

Tue, 02 Jun 2009

According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run.  Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake.  Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump.
