2004 BMW R1100s - Sport Touring Bike
Always garaged - mileage 38k / Newer Tires (about 300 miles on them) Rides Excellent - upgraded Ohlins suspension ABS brakes - Full Saddle Bags Runs Excellent. Some minor scuffs near gas tank opening from when I change the fuel filter. Title in Hand. Sold As Is. I have rear cowling (Seat cover) too in garage (not pictured.) Have 3 kids and don't ride anymore. This hasn't been ridden in 2 years, other than starting up for maintenance. No need to let it sit and not enjoy. BUYER Responsible for pickup. |

Charley Boorman’s BMW R1200 GS Adventure Stolen – and Recovered
Fri, 27 Apr 2012Adventure touring documentary star Charley Boorman and his BMW R1200GS Adventure have traveled a long way together, but the motorcycle had a bit of an adventure on its own after thieves stole the bike. The stolen BMW wasn’t the one Boorman rode with Ewen McGregor in “Long Way Round” (that was a R1150GS Adventure) or the one used in the sequel “Long Way Down“. Boorman did ride it on his last project, “Charley Boorman’s Extreme Frontiers: Canada”.
