This 1979 BMW R100 has had one long term California owner. Retaining its original blue license plates, this motorcycle has been meticulously maintained from new. The motorcycle is equipped with a special order police issue solo seat from Great Britain. Dual disks on the front and a single disk on the rear - new master cylinder. New westco battery, rebuilt carbs, tuned and sync'd, new valve covers, new valve cover gaskets, rebuilt petcocks, freshly powder coated snowflake wheels, new tires, new tubes, new handlebar switches. The 1000cc motor pulls strong and smooth with incredible torque. Gear change is smooth and precise. I have a complete set of panniers and chrome brackets available for the bike, these can be fitted at request. Having just had a major service, this BMW is ready to ride anywhere, fly in - ride home. This is a very handsome classic airhead. Clear California title, registered and insured. I can deliver anywhere in the USA for $500. |

BMW Launches New National Television Ad Campaign – Video
Fri, 01 Mar 2013BMW Motorrad USA has launched a new national ad campaign, its first in the U.S., according to the company, in over 20 years. The new ad campaign – “Feed Your Restless” – begins today, March 1, and will run more than 1,500 times through June on Velocity, Speed, Fuel TV, the Sportsman Channel, ESPN, ESPNews, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel. BMW has produced four commercials for the campaign, three that will run nationally and a fourth for dealers to use for their local markets.
