YOU WILL NEED TO SOURCE THE LAMP PORTION OF THE HEADLITE AS WELL AS THE TURN SIGNALS. **** STARTER HAD BEEN REPLACED WHEN WE PICKED IT UP BUT,, EITHER THE RELAY NEEDS REPLACED OR YOU WILL NEED TO LOOK INTO THE STARTER BUTTON SWITCH AT HANDLE BAR. I HAVE ACTIVATED STARTER AT THE RELAY TERMINAL TO SUCCESSFULLY START BIKE.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, CLUTCH DIS-ENGAGES, GEARBOX SEQUENCES AS DESIGNED. HORN , TURN SIGNALS/LAMP AT REAR WORK AS WELL AS DASH LIGHTS.. OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
2012 BMW G650GS Sertão Announced
Mon, 03 Oct 2011BMW has unveiled a new more off-road oriented version of the G650GS. Named for a dry backlands region of northeastern Brazil, the 2012 BMW G650GS Sertão adds longer-travel suspension and wire-spoke wheels to make it a more capable machine for off-road adventure riding. The Sertão’s 41mm fork offers over 210mm of travel compared to the regular G650GS’ 170mm.
