2010 BMW R1200RT, *New arrival* This is a nice one-owner R1200RT that we sold new and we have looked over this bike since day one. The factory build is a nice one and it consists of: - ESA II- audio system w/ AM-FM radio and iPod connection- heated seats- heated grips- cruise control- on-board computer- accessory socket- tire pressure monitoring We have performed all the scheduled services on this bike 600, 6,000, 12,000, 18,000, 24,000 and the 30,000 mile services. The 30,000 mile service was completed on 7/9/13 when the bike had 28,715 miles and we will be completing a safety inspection, oil and filter change and anything else it may need at this time. The bike is very clean with no signs of a drop or crash only a few marks on the side cases from being used and moved around in the garage. 2014 Urals Get Upgraded & Go On Tour

For 2014 Ural has equipped its line-up of two-wheelers and sidecars with some very modern componentry. Ural models now enjoy the benefits of electronic fuel injection (EFI), disc brakes (on all three wheels) and an hydraulic steering damper. Ural claims the motorcycles have received “dozens of other upgrades,” but did not provide details as to nature of those upgrades.

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
