BMW Other description

2010 BMW R 1200 GS ADVENTURE, Due to recent back surgery, I have to make some life style changes. That said, motorcycling is taking a back seat. To that end, I am selling my much loved 2010 R1200 GSA. First and foremost I have meticulous service records for the bike and this bike needs NOTHING at all. Can hook up to computer and prove no fault codes. There are NO conerns with this BMW regarding FD, Rear Main Seal, Fuel Strip...nothing. BMW serviced and confirmed less than 500 miles ago. New Generator belt at 36,000, New rear brake pads 8,000 miles ago. Also, the Russel seat in the picture will not sell with the bike. The buyer will get my Rick Mayer custom seat as well as the OEM Passenger seat. Bike has never been down. Excellent condition. This bike is loaded with options. 2009 BMW S1000RR Entering Production

Wed, 04 Feb 2009

We’re finally able to share some pictures and info about the production version of BMW’s new literbike, the S1000RR. We now know that it has a claimed dry weight of 403 pounds, which should be competitive with its Japanese literbike rivals. The all-new inline-Four powerplant displaces 999cc, and its cylinder head is said to be very narrow and compact, with the valves actuated by “very small” cam followers that are nearly at Formula 1 levels in size.
