2009 Bmw G 650 Xcountry, 2009 BMW G650XC - See a Road. Eat a Road. The most versatile member of BMW Motorrads fresh new G series line up, the G 650 Xcountry is the classic scrambler concept topped off with a few modern features unique to BMW, like a zippy 53 horsepower single cylinder engine, and a high performance lightweight design. With a round head lamp, round side panels and black, anodized wheels, the look of the Xcountry is edgy and totally striking. Add Marzocchi telescopic forks and Magura aluminum handlebars and you can attack any road you want, from dusty gravel tracks to asphalt sweepers. On-road or off-road, the Xcountry is one scrambler that will have your heart revving as fast as your tachometer. This 650 is a perfect everyday bike.

BMW Helps Vertically Challenged

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

No matter where they go or what they do, it seems that people who are vertically challenged always get the ‘short’ end of the stick, pardon the pun. Historically, if a pint-sized person wanted to get into the hobby of motorcycling, their choices were limited to bikes like the Suzuki Marauder, Ninja 250 or HD Sportster (the thought alone makes my back hurt.) BMW Motorrad now has good news for riders who either need or simply prefer a lower seat height, but do not want to compromise on model choice. BMW is the first motorcycle manufacturer to launch a range of models that can be ordered from the factory with lowered suspension – to provide customers with low seat height options.

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

What do you get when you bring together the designer of the Fisker Karma and the great-grandson of the founder of Lego? The answer is this cruiser concept model by Danish brand Lauge Jensen called the Viking. The company was formed in 2004 by bike builder Uffe Lauge Jensen but later sold to industrialist Anders Kirk Johansen, the scion of one of Denmark’s wealthiest families and great-grandson of Ole Kirk Christiansen who invented Lego building blocks.
