2007 BMW R 1200 GS, 2007 BMW R1200GS: This great 12GS has been my reliable companion on many road/camping trips and is more than ready for your adventures! Well maintained, just had all the fluids replaced at the dealer. I only run premium gas and put in a fresh AGM battery in June. This 12GS has two small issues. The fuel sensor is out and won't read the fuel level. I just use the Odometer Trip to monitor my mileage. I had a 0mph tip-over at a campground and there is minor scuffs and scrapes on the engine guard, hand protector and turn signal indicator. Lamborghini Plows Into BMW Motorcycle Dealership
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Pictured here is the carnage left behind after a driver lost control of a Lamborghini Murciélago and plowed through a row of motorcycles parked outside a BMW dealership in Mariano Comense, a town north of Milan, Italy. According to Italian site InFullGear, the driver veered into the oncoming lane while approaching a curve before losing control and running into the parked motorcycles before bouncing off and coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The crash injured three people, though thankfully none of them were seriously injured.
2013 BMW C600 Sport Recalled in Canada for Loose Fairings
Tue, 04 Dec 2012BMW‘s maxi-scooters have only just started going on sale in North America and already there’s a recall for the 2013 BMW C600 Sport in Canada. According to Transport Canada, the fairing side panels on certain BMW C600 Sport scooters can loosen and detach while moving at very high speeds. In such a situation, the detached fairing poses a hazard to the rider and passenger as well as other vehicles and bystanders.
