BMW Other description

2005 BMW K1200LT, This is a very nice K1200LT with super low miles and in great condition. It is a one-owner trade with a factory build consisting of ABS, floor lighting, heated seats, BMW anti-theft alarm system, central locking, center brake light on topcase, heated grips, tall windshield, CD changer with audio system and hydraulic center stand. The previous owner added retracting highway pegs that tuck under the engine protection bars when not used, a BMW Garmin navigation unit and perhaps the coolest accessory on any motorcycle the BMW cup holder. After taking it on trade we replaced the rear main seal, rear pinion seal, all the transmission seals, the clutch disc, clutch line to the slave cylinder and serviced the final drive. We also did the basics and the bike has a new BMW oil filter and fresh 15w50 synthetic oil. We have a good history with this bike as it originated with us and the 600, 6,000 and 12,000 mile services were performed here. Call John (x125) or Brian (x112) at 603.964.2877 or visit our NH location with questions or to purchase this machine.

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

2013 BMW F700GS and F800GS Announced

Tue, 03 Jul 2012

BMW has updated its F800GS and introduced the F700GS which replaces the F650GS for the German manufacturer’s 2013 lineup. The 2013 BMW F800GS slots in under the R1200GS as the company’s mid-displacement adventure tourer while the F700GS is an entry-level model to the segment. Despite the nomenclature, both models are equipped with liquid-cooled and fuel-injected four-valve 798cc twin-cylinder engines, just like the 650.

How to destroy a GoPro

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

That scraping sound you can hear is a mixture of a knee slider and the GoPro camera housing grazing the tarmac at Mugello. The footage was shot on-board the BMW Motorrad France Team Thevent machine ridden by Hugo Marchand, in testing ahead of the 2012 Endurance World Championship. He managed to wreck the housing that holds the GoPro camera after only three laps.
