2002 BMW K1200RS, *New arrival* This is a very nice 2002 K1200RS with only 27,221 miles with a factory build consisting of heated grips, sport suspension, cruise control and ABS. There are removable BMW side cases and tank bag included with the bike along with a nice deep tone Two Brothers muffler. The bike is in good cosmetic condition with only a couple of minor blemishes found on the paint. Considering the age of the bike it is in better shape than most we see from this vintage. Our safety inspection is pending along with any service it needs to get it current. We will also be replacing both front and rear tires. Call us to reserve this bike. European Parliament Makes ABS Mandatory, Tighten Emissions Standards by 2016

The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of new rules that would increase emission standards and make anti-lock braking systems mandatory for all new large motorcycles, scooters and trikes and quads by 2016. The new regulations, which would still need approval from European Union member states, may only directly affect Europe, but they will have a wide-reaching affect on manufacturers’ product development for other markets. BMW, for example, has already made ABS standard for all its motorcycles for 2013.
