2001 BMW R 1200 C, I am putting my 01 Phoenix up for sale. The bike has 23,562 miles on it and is occasionally ridden. This is bike is in great running condition and has all of the service history. That said, it has been ridden typical wear for used bike. I have ridden it across the country comfortably and a few 800+ mile days with no issues. It has the large plastic saddle bags (one has some wear due to not attaching well and it popping off at about 15mph.) It also has the chrome crash bars and mag wheels. I will include the saddle bags (keyed to ignition key), the flip up pillion, the large OEM passenger seat (see pics) and the removable center stand with the sale. Asking $7k OBO, the bike is located in Arlington, VA. Buyer pick-up, or I am willing to drive the bike a reasonable distancenegotiable. See pictures for blemishes. New naked BMW spotted on track days
Sat, 03 Sep 2016The future generation of the "1-liter" naked BMW S1000R was spotted during the development tests on the territory of the German racing "ring" Oschersleben. Apparently, the Bavarian streetfighter will receive a number of technical solutions that his older brother, the BMW S1000RR, was endowed with a couple of years ago. Just as the current generation of the SR was created on the base of the previous SR-era, the 2017 modification will actually become a stripped version of today's sportbike.
Lamborghini Plows Into BMW Motorcycle Dealership
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Pictured here is the carnage left behind after a driver lost control of a Lamborghini Murciélago and plowed through a row of motorcycles parked outside a BMW dealership in Mariano Comense, a town north of Milan, Italy. According to Italian site InFullGear, the driver veered into the oncoming lane while approaching a curve before losing control and running into the parked motorcycles before bouncing off and coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The crash injured three people, though thankfully none of them were seriously injured.
