Since purchase I had the bike painted professionaly and flawless in BMW red, brand new clutches and components, brand new rear shock , brake pads, and the bike has been running perfect and maintained. This MC is in need of nothing but a rider as a daily driver or weekender, I owned a lotta of bikes throughout my life, all models and styles, and I must say the bike has been one of the most dependable, smooth riding motorcycles ever, and the only reason for sale is moving. New car firm shows interest in bikes too

BMW Set Single Month Sales Record in April 2013 – New R1200GS Represents 27.7% of Sales Volume
Mon, 13 May 2013BMW announced it set a new company all-time sales record for a single month, delivering 14,587 motorcycles to customers in April 2013. That represents an 11.5% increase from the 13,088 motorcycles sold in April 2012. The record month helped push BMW‘s overall sales over the first four months to 39,319 motorcycles and scooters, a 5.0% increase from the 13,088 units sold in the same period of 2012.
2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
