You are bidding on a well used BMW F800GS. This motorcycle has taken me all over North America. It is not the best looking F8 you will find but it is well maintained and you will not cry when you drop it. It is ready to ride as is. Kelly Blue Book trade in value is $5380 and retail value is $7790. NADA suggested list price is $11,395, low retail is $6485 and average retail is $8535. I am the only owner, bought new from Diablo BMW. OEM options include ABS and BMW computer. There are extras including Sargent seat, tank bag, tool kit, crash bars, highway pegs, kaoko cruise control, and center stand. I have all receipts and records. Tires have tread left. Last service done 3300 miles ago(due every 6k). The ignition switch was recently replaced. I have spare front brake pads and inner tubes. Title is clear and registration good thru September. Limited Edition 2012 BMW R1200GS ABS Tom Luthi Announced for Switzerland
Tue, 14 Feb 2012It’s not unusual for motorcycle manufacturers to produce special edition models to honor a racer. It is unusual when that racer doesn’t compete on one that manufacturer’s machines though. Nevertheless, Interwetten Racing‘s Thomas Luthi, who rides a Honda-powered Suter machine in the Moto2 World Championship is a BMW brand ambassador, and thus, the German manufacturer has produced a limited edition R1200GS in his name.
Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans
Wed, 09 May 2012NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.
