Aprilia RSV4 R Preview [video]

Aprilia has revealed the latest version of its potent new literbike, the RSV4 R. The R retains the same 65-degree V-4 engine (with 180 claimed horsepower) and the aluminum chassis as the previously unveiled “Factory” version but uses a few lesser-spec components to keep the costs down. Aprilia SR Max Touring Scooter Unveiled

Aprilia has unveiled a new touring scooter, the Aprilia SR Max, available in 125cc and 300cc configurations. Okay, perhaps “new” isn’t the right word for it, as the SR Max is a rebadged version of the Nexus from Aprilia’s Piaggo Group stablemate, Gilera. It’s also not clear if Aprilia will import the SR Max to North America, but the scooter is more likely to pop up here, where Aprilia already offers the SR 50 scooter, with its new name, than it would as a Gilera.

Mattia Pasini Replaces Anthony West on Speed Master CRT for 2012 MotoGP Season

Claiming Rule Team Speed Master has named Mattia Pasini as the replacement for Anthony West for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. Pasini, a successful Grand Prix racer with 10 wins and 26 podium finishes in the 125cc and 250cc World Championships, will ride the team’s Aprilia-developed CRT machine. He replaces West who was forced to withdraw after being unable to come up with the funding to pay for his ride.
