Aprilia All description

Up for sale is a real nice April Mana that I took in on trade for a touring type bike.  This is an automatic with 3 ride modes, plus you can shift if you would like with no clutch.  Bike had it's oil changed by me and I also checked all systems and rode the bike around to make sure it's good to go.  Bike has optional rear rack and a trunk with mounting plate.  Also has K&N air filter set up.  Miles will go up as I ride this fun bike.  I'm looking for a scooter on trade if you have a Burgman give me a call 608-832-2172  No Reserve bike, for sale also localy.

No fee's to out of state buyers, WI will need to pay state fee's.

Death of a sailsman

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

Former Apple head honcho Steve Jobs liked his bikes, so when he fancied a great big yacht, it's probably not too surprising he asked French design guru Philippe Starck to pen it. You may recall that Starck, who has designed everything from juicers to hotels, also drew up the Aprilia 6.5 Moto (pictured, right) back in the 90s - a motorcycle whose main achievement has been polarising opinion ever since. (You say minimalist icon, I say F650 wearing a blanket. An orange blanket.) Anyway, when Jobs met Starck, minimal, yacht-shaped sparks evidently flew and the result - after six years of hard work at Dutch builders Feadship and Mr Jobs' passing into the Great Docking Port in the Sky - is this sleek, 80-metre superyacht named Venus. The interiors that are all flat teak decks and walls of glass, with a bridge sporting an array of iMacs.

Mega-rare Aprilia RSV250 GP bike on eBay

Tue, 07 Sep 2010

THIS SUPER-RARE 1997 Aprilia RSV250 is for sale on eBay, offered for a gulp-inducing £25,000.The seller says bike was purchased in 1998 through Aprilia Racing by Moto Gold Racing and was campaigned in the 1997 European 250 GP championship series, consistently scoring "top high speeds. "It's claimed the machine was raced by Nobi Iso in AMA in 2002 and 2003. It's since undergone a full restoration and comes with a comprehensive spares package,  Don't confuse this with the road-going RS250 Aprilia; it's a proper GP250 machine, similar to the bikes raced by Biaggi and Rossi in the early part of their careers.

It's just an Aprilia RS3 Cube

Mon, 21 May 2012

I never get tired of looking at Aprilia's RS3 Cube. I don't care about the fact it was a shit-or-bust gamble by Aprilia, that tarnished their almost immaculate GP reputation - infact that makes it even cooler. No-one expected Aprilia to enter a bike into the four-stroke category, their heritage in GP dictated that their interests lay in two-strokes, but what was more left-field than Aprilia's entry?
