Vehicle Details

Here lies a 1983 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH1000 “ironhead”.

I’ve had the bike for Close to a year now and I plan on selling it for money towards college. She’s a lot of fun and is definitely a bike for those who want to spend on the price of Fun. I’ve done a few things to get her to look and feel more than she is in age. I’ve replaced most of the Aesthetic looks.

List of parts put on:

OEM Rubber foot pegs

“Mooneyes” Points Cover

Prism Supply Stainless Steel T-Bars

Vans X Cult waffle “gumsole” grips

Le Pera BareBones solo seat with riders gel

New battery

New Rear Master Cylinder

Things to look at:

Forks. Are wore out and need to be replaced.

There’s a tiny rust hole on the frame under the seat. I bought the bike as is and had no knowledge of any rust holes until I replaced the seat. I subconsciously knew that there would be some surface rust because of how old the bike is but had no idea about the hole under my seat.

Those are only things that need love. She’s a great first time riders bike. I love the bike but I’m hoping she finds a good owner that had the same passions for it and gets it riding those highways once more.
