Remove the plastic cover (depending on the car model and brand the cover may differ from the one shown below)
Check if the engine cover is attached by screws or snapping clips.Some engine covers are screwed and you need to unscrew them. The screws are located under the small round screw caps.Other covers are attached by the clips. In order to remove the cover you can simply pull it upwards.
Remove the plug from the sensor carefully.Plug in one wire from the chip box in the unlocked plug. Then, plug in the second wire to the sensor in the place where the connector is unplugged.
After plugging in the chip you should turn the key halfway down (turn on the ignition) and check if on-chip LED is lit, if so, you need to fix the chip by using cable ties. The chip has to be mounted in such a way that it must be protected from water and high motor temperature.
