You are really going to love this little time capsule.

There were only two small bore enduros in the 1970’s that had an electric start, the Suzuki TC185 and this beautiful little Yamaha AT1.  After 1972, Yamaha even dropped the electric starter on the 125cc models!  It is a very nice touch on a classy around town bike.

The bike is beautiful and has a very low 6200 miles.  It has the especially hard to find chromed factory luggage rack. I would give it at least an 8.25 on a 10 cosmetic scale.

The seat is nearly new with no rips or tears, hinges up as it should to allow for filling the oil injection.  Handlebars absolutely straight, original grey cables.  All electrics  including high/low beam, turn signals, neutral light, and turn signal orange light work as they should.  Instrument faces on the speedo and tach are bright.  Rims are straight, bright chrome.   Front fender is beautiful bright straight chrome.  The rear is straight and painted blue. The tank is excellent with just a small pencil lead wide groove on the very front center of the tank and a small rub area on the top right rear.

I have over $500 worth of receipts for new piston rings bore and tuneup. It also has brand new tires!

Starts easily on the electric starter or kick starter.  Its clutch and gears work as they should.  At nearly $4.00 a gallon this  little enduro that will get you 70+ mpg is not only fun, but an economical transportation bargain.
