Live from the launch of the 2010 MV Agusta F4 1000?

Thu, 11 Feb 2010

Evening All,

Whit here, live from the launch of the 2010 MV Agusta F4 1000 - a 186bhp 998cc inline-four, with a revised chassis and electronics package, including an eight-stage traction control system. Although the bike looks almost the same as previous incarnations, MV say the F4's different from the ground up.

With specs like that it should be well impressive.

Anyway, just landed in Almeria, Spain, after a bumpy flight from dear old Blighty. It was a rough old ride; for a while I was beginning to think Max Biaggi was at the controls. Oooh, yer bugger...

But enough of all that. Check out this bad boy I found lurking in the corner of the hotel lobby: Peugeot's 24-hour Le Mans car. And parked right next to it was Audi's R10 Le Mans-winning race car. Talk about a couple of trouser arousers.

Oh yes, and the MV was there too. But more of that tomorrow when we ride it at the track.

Check back then for my first impressions!
