Entries may be submitted from now until Dec 31, 2014 by going to http://www.yamahamotorsports.com/sport/supersportvbs/show.aspx and all Yamaha sport bikes are eligible. Each month, a “Bike of the Month” will be selected out of all the entries submitted and the winners of this award will receive their choice of Yamaha apparel worth up to $100.

Yamaha reported a 5.4% decrease in net sales for 2012 and a 72.2% decrease in profit but the Japanese manufacturer says it is poised for a dramatic recovery as it begins its “New Medium-Term Management Plan” for 2013-2015. The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.
