Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over

Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. Yamaha has confirmed the personal information of 607 customers in Japan was leaked to a third party. According to Yamaha, personal information for recall and product improvement measures was leaked byYamaha Motorcycle Sales Japan Co., the manufacturer’s domestic group company. The information including names, mailing addresses, vehicle names and VIN, and dealership information for 607 customer accounts in the Aichi, Fukuoka and Kagoshima prefectures were received by an anonymous third party via fax on Nov.

While some might think the Chief and Lead instructors at the newly revamped Yamaha Champions Riding School are getting in over their heads, the two are at Yale as lead presenters for “Excellence In Motion: What Motorcycle Racing Can Teach Us About Success,” which begins at 4pm (local time) today.  When put into context, their appearance at one of the nation’s top schools is understandable.
