I have a very nice Yamaha RoadStar 1600 I am looking to sell. It has just been service with Mobil 1 full syn, new filter, new battery with connector for battery maintainer, and new tires. It has some up grades and are as follows: Vance and Hines long shots, stiletto gel seat, custom led front turn signals and rear bullet style signals, custom tag frame mount with factory turn signal delete, de-badged and a few chrome covers here and there. The bike only has just over 12k miles. This is a trun key bike it needs nothing, just jump on and ride. It will also come with a full front and rear lowering kit that was never installed. If you have any questions please feel free to email me and I will get back to you asap. I will not be a part of any shipping arrangements would prefer the bike to picked up in person and title signed before you leave. 2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season
Mon, 01 Aug 2011Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.
