Up for auction is my 1975 Yamaha RD350 Parts Bike. This bike Does have a clear Indiana Title that is in previous owners name. As you can see the engine and all associated components are missing. No Engine, wiring, handlebar switches or headlight. What you see is what you get. No other parts are included in this auction. This bike only had 2900 miles on it. The tires appear to be the original Dunlaps and are actually in decent condition. The wheels look excellent, spokes are nice and so are the chrome on the rims. The chrome on this bike is really nice, with the exception of the rear grab bar, which will most likely come off with some effort. Body work is intact but obviousy painted poorly. Seat is excellent, latch needs adjusted. If you need a good titled frame then here is your chance. Frame is nice and has no repairs or modifications. Colin Edwards’ Gear Being Auctioned For Feed The Children
Tue, 29 Jul 2014While Colin Edwards may no longer be a factory Yamaha racer these days, he still enjoys a close bond with the tuning fork brand. So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.
Hayes Wins 2012 AMA Superbike Championship with Record 14th Win
Tue, 25 Sep 2012Monster Energy Graves Yamaha‘s Josh Hayes has clinched his third consecutive AMA Superbike title with his record 14th win of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The win in the second race of the Miami round was the 31st of Hayes’ career. It followed a rare misstep in Race One which saw Hayes crashing after clipping a curb on the third lap.
Yamaha Names Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to 2015 Dakar Team
Fri, 23 May 2014Yamaha has retained Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to race for its official factory team in the 2015 Dakar Rally. Pain and Metge will ride a new WR450F Rally currently being developed for the 2015 rally. Both riders raced for the Yamaha team in this year’s rally; Pain finished third overall behind KTM Red Bull team’s Marc Coma and Jordi Viladoms while Metge rode as a support rider for fourth-place finisher Cyril Despres.
