1986 Yamaha TY 350 Trails Dirt Bike Rock Hopper 2-Stroke Motorcycle TY350

I do not have a title to this bike, just a bill of sale from me to you.

This bike has been sitting in storage for atleast 10 years, we acquired it from an estate we bought out about 3 months ago, I dropped it of at Yamaha and almost every mechanic came out to see it, they couldn't believe these were still around.  They cleaned the carb and plug, gave it a tune up, changed the oil and gave it the all clear sign.

I picked it up yesterday and drove it around the neighborhood and it does run great. I got it up to 72 on the speedo and started to get a little scared ( I'm not what I usta be)

As you can see the mileage is very low at 574 and better yet the serial numbers are low at 000103, that means this was the 103 bike made in production.  So my collectors out there you better grab this one.

Condition :

This is my personal opinion so please look at the pictures and come to your own conclusion.

Plastics are very good, some scuffs and scratches here and there but nothing major, The tires hold air but are dryrotted, the headlight and tail light do work but the knob on the pull switch is lost.  Sometimes when I stopped riding it, the idle was low and it seemed like it wanted to shut off, the mechanic said this is normal and the bike needs a good riding and that will clear up.

We are located in the Fort Lauderdale, Fl. area zip code 33330, Local pickups are welcomed or YOU can make the arrangements on u-ship or with your choice of freighting company.  I have no idea what this will cost to ship so please don't email me and ask how much shipping is.  I will do anything possible on my end to meet your freight company and release the bike.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU DONT PLAN ON PAYING FOR THIS.  SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!!!!

Not the most sensible of commuters..

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

This is the white and gold 2012 Yamaha R1. It's also the bike I shall be commuting on for the next 8 months. The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. There are three fresh colours to choose from.
