Yamaha Other description

2009 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom, Great Bike With Low Miles - From the day it hit the street, the V-Star 650 Custom has been a huge hit. We started with an authentic V-twin powerplant and a lean, low-slung chassis, and then tricked it out with lots of chrome, luminous paint, and a bobtail rear fender. And thanks to its chopper profile, shaft drive, and low seat height, the end result is no ordinary custom. The V-Star 650 Custom is so stylish and unique, people will swear you must have customized it yourself. Dont worry - we wont tell a soul.

Yamaha Files Trademark Application for FJ-09

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Yamaha‘s next three-cylinder motorcycle may be a sport-tourer, if a recently-filed trademark application is any indication. The Tuning Fork brand filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the name “FJ-09” as it applies to “Motorcycles, scooters, three-wheeled scooters and structural parts for all the aforesaid goods.” Following Yamaha’s usual naming conventions, the signs indicate the trademark will be for a new sport-touring model using the same Triple as the FZ-09. Yamaha has made it clear it plans to introduce more three-cylinder engines following the FZ-09 (or MT-09, as it is known in Europe.) Previously-filed trademark applications for the YZF-R3 and R3 names raised speculation the next triple would be a sportbike, but as per Yamaha’s usual naming convention, the “3″ in R3 is likelier to refer to the engine displacement rather than the number of cylinders.

2014 AMA Supercross – Phoenix Results

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.

California Superbike School 2-day Camp at Silverstone

Mon, 24 May 2010

California Superbike School will be running a 2-day camp at Silverstone for the first time in the UK this August, offering riders a chance to enjoy extra track time while improving their skills in the art of cornering. Taking place on the all-new South circuit (1.9 miles long with 12 turns) students can ride their own bike or hire a fully prepared 2010 Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop Sportsmart tyres and fuel included. Already hugely popular with students returning year after year, previously the 2-day camps have been held in Spain during the spring.
