I have a 2002 yamaha R6 in Terrific condition, has 26k, attractive tires, after market exhaust, no baffles, moves like a jet..no joke! it has 600mis on the new tires, all plastics are in terrific condition, no tears in the seats, no scratches, chain is tight, is a scuff on the left side on the primary cover lower, other than, no issues and hardly noticeable, clear title, oil changed regularly. must sell ASAP! price will go up in spring...So don't wait....What a better time to buy than now. Also, there are plenty of days in winter to still ride..if not for you, why not make it a Merry Christmas for someone you love! i have helmets too, women's and mens, i can sell with it.. i am negotiable within reason on the price so... hit me up... and... no test rides unless cash in hand..you drop it you bought it. no exceptions. call... Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.

The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte  Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.

Yamaha Focusing on Developing Model Platforms

Following the success of its MT platform, Yamaha says it will continue to develop new models based on shared platforms, allowing for a choice of multiple models while reducing overall costs. Speaking in a presentation on the company’s business operation, Yamaha Motor President Hiroyuki Yanagi reiterated the strategy of developing multiple models sharing the same engine and frame. Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
