2002 Yamaha 250f , Excellent condition - Starts cold in one or two kicks. Tons of upgrades from previous owner who used to race. Complete with title. Extra Plastics and some graphics (standard yahama ones that were never put on) - Extra plastics were installed this weekend - Also this weekend installed new air filter, spark plug, and removed and cleaned the carb. Rear tire and hub were recently replaced Spare front tire (both installed and replacement only lightly worn.) will include 2 new spark plugs, additional replacement air filter, chain spray, filter cleaner, Also will include - Adult Helmet (large) - Chest Protector (large) - Utopia goggles with reflective lens and new (sealed) replacement clear lens - MX pants and shirt. (Thor large/34) About the only thing it could use at this point is some new hand grips.. which are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. $1,800.00 5128765810

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

David Stanton Charity Trackday Raises $75,000

The generosity of the motorcycling community shone brightly on Monday, as riders, fans, friends and enthusiasts took part in a charity track day at Sonoma Raceway hosted by 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days, raising $75,000. The charity track day was to benefit David Stanton, a Bay Area resident and long-time American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) competitor, who was paralyzed after a racing crash in June. In all, more than 400 people participated in the track day, attended the evening reception or stopped by to give Stanton their best wishes.
