2000 Yamaha Venture 1300 , Up for sale is my 2000 Yamaha Venture Touring Edition. (34000 Miles) It is a 4 cylinder 1300cc touring bike with CB, Electronic Cruise, Radio/Tape/Aux, Hard Saddle bags and Trunk. Within this past year I have replaced the factory speakers and Battery. I changed out the stock pipes with FTR pipes. No baffles in these pipes. Loud/And will turn some heads. (Stock Pipes Included if Interested) New rear tire Summer 2012. It is a great running bike for the daily commute or weekend getaway. I honestly hate to see this go, but maybe this will be the right fit for you. Not looking to trade. This weekend sees the running of the most famous car race of them all, the Le Mans 24hrs, and to be a driver of one of the front-running cars has got to be fairly high on the list of jobs that will make ladies swoon. Speed, danger, noise, fame, physical fitness and lots and lots of money, the key elements of any top-line race series, tend to ensure that its star competitors manage to appear cool. But the latest press picture from Yamaha – publicising the firm's link with (Yamaha shareholder) Toyota's Le Mans effort – manages to strip away every last shred of of swagger from the team's drivers by plonking them on Yamaha EC-03 electric scooters.

So Kenny Roberts Jnr think traction control is ruining racing? Having watched this 1981 ProAm race from Mallory Park, I'm forced to agree. Racing should be a spectacle.

Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
