1989 YAMAHA FJ1200 EXCELLENT CONDITION!

For 25 years this bike has been taken care of by owners who

Took pride in owning one of the best motorcycles ever produced.

This is a great example of how perfect these bikes were. This 1989 FJ1200 is in Excellent Condition throughout. It only has 25K original miles and is always well maintained. Everything works. No issues. I would say the only thing to note is it will need new tires next spring although they just passed inspection through July 2017.

New clutch in July 2016. Bottom end carb rebuild June 2016.

It has a pair of Supertrapp Silencers which add a nice low growl and makes it perform better. I have installed an 8 pc. blue LED light package which really makes it stand out in a crowd.

I hate to part with it but I have a very sick dog that is racking up vet bills as I type this so I don’t really have a choice. I am putting a low starting bid to ensure it sells.

Buyer must pick up locally or make arrangements for shipping at their expense. Clean PA title and valid 7/17 Inspection.

Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU Concept – the SUV Motorcycle

Wed, 16 Nov 2011

Yamaha is debuting a new heavy-duty utility motorcycle concept at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show. Described as the “SUV motorcycle”, the Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU was designed to carry heavy loads for both on and off the road. The concept’s name suggests it may share elements of Yamaha’s XT250 and TW200 dual sports.

What Would Colin Edwards Do?

Wed, 25 May 2011

As fast as Colin Edwards is on the track, the Texas Tornado may be even quicker behind a microphone. We saw some of that last year in the Yamaha-produced “Man-Cation” video with Edwards and his then-Tech 3 teammate Ben Spies, and Edwards can always be relied upon for a good quote at press conferences. The producers of MotoGP’s official video podcast “After the Flag” have taken notice of CEIII’s wit.

Retirement is rife but thankfully not for Vale

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

The racing season may be over but the winter nights will surely fly by as we watch reviews, debate events of 2012 racing and relish the excitement that lays ahead in 2013. Unfortunately retirement seems to be popular right now so with major names leaving BSB, WSB and Moto GP things will never quite be the same. I’m still in shock that Casey Stoner has decided to head back home for a spot of fishing.
