New  paint, progressive springs in front forks with anti-dive block off plates, de-linked brakes,  brakes upgraded to RI with stainless steel braided lines, starter modified with ground. New water pump, recovered seat and backrest (seat has some minor scratches from a cat). Has upgraded fuse box and programmable CDI box. Clearview Windshield with vent.  Virtually everything reconditioned. 39,000 miles. Two sets of intercom and mikes for helmets. One installed on helmet. Comes with spin on filter adapter and clutch stainless steel line (You install) Bike cover included. Numerous spare parts if you want them.

Colin Edwards’ Gear Being Auctioned For Feed The Children

While Colin Edwards may no longer be a factory Yamaha racer these days, he still enjoys a close bond with the tuning fork brand. So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.

Intermot 2012: Yamaha Unveils Crossplane Triple Concept

Yamaha announced it is developing a new three-cylinder engine using a crossplane crankshaft inherited from the company’s YZR-M1 MotoGP bike and its YZF-R1 sportbike. Yamaha says the new Triple will play an important role in the company’s future. The Japanese manufacturer unveiled a concept sculpture with the new three-cylinder engine at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany.
